Choosing Mexico LLC is unique

In 2007, Choosing Mexico LLC was started by Greg and Jane Custer. In 2015 they began living in Mexico for retirement while facing their own retirement dilemma; bringing Greg’s Alzheimer patient/mother from their home in Oregon. This experience, coupled with their background as Mexico tourism educators (dating back to the early 1980’s), has given them a firsthand connection to Mexico living and the retirement realities faced by millions of Americans.

Greg and Jane are US citizens who hold Permanent Resident immigration status in Mexico. Greg has a Masters Degree from UCLA in Latin American Studies.

Choosing Mexico LLC was founded in 2007 and is incorporated in Washington State, USA.

“This walking tour was absolutely enchanting! Gregory is a wonderful storyteller, and you will learn a lot of interesting details and secrets about the history of Ajijic. In addition, Gregory has an expertise in what it means to retire in Mexico. He has a lot of perspective and can offer insight and answer questions if you were thinking about retiring in this area. I accompanied my mom on this tour, as she's thinking about retiring in this area. I also got a lot out of the tour and really enjoyed the stories about the murals, The visit to Lake Chapala society, and the Tuesday market.
